Harley sat there now. Completely confused. He thought she wanted him to kiss her and he did. What did he do wrong. Instead of voice it he wrapped his arms around his knees and pulled them up to his chest for a moment before reaching for his bag. Pulling out his journal as he began to write.
My beautiful little friend In which no one can contend You stretch and yawn Wake at glorious dawn With a smile upon your face No sadness, not a trace For you bring cheer So truthful and clear The sun shines down You show no frown Rain pours and floods But you enjoy the mud Happiness is what you spread Or perhaps color instead You are my dear friend Who makes me smile a hidden smile But you don't always understand, You will always be My beautiful little friend.
Slowly Harley stood up and took the bowl from her and placed the poem in her lap moving back to his seat and taking another hit of the bowl letting her read to herself.

'The letters are dancing' Lola giggled lightly before pushing the book off of her lap, knowing that there was no way that she'd be writing what he'd written anytime soon.
'Read it to me, like a story' She told him in a somewhat demanding voice before slouching over and holding her head in her hands, really quite pleased of both herself and the situation she'd gotten herself into now. She was so high, and it felt so incredibly brilliant and wonderful that she didn't even want it to stop or end. If she could be like this all the time, she had a feeling life would be far more simple.

Harley slowly moved over and took the book sitting in front of her indian style . Taking one more hit of the bowl he let out a cough before looking down at it. "My beautiful little friend. In which no one can contend. You stretch and yawn, wake at glorious dawn. With a smile upon your face, no sadness, not a trace. For you bring cheer, so truthful and clear. The sun shines down, you show no frown. Rain pours and floods, but you enjoy the mud. Happiness is what you spread, or perhaps color instead. You are my dear friend. Who makes me smile a hidden smile. But you don't always understand, You will always be, my beautiful little friend."He read out before shutting the book and looking down at it.

'That...' Lola told him, raising her hand up and pointing her finger at absolutely nothing.
'...Is really nice' She finished before slumping to the side and letting her eyes fall closed, unable to help herself in the least. At that point in time, she had no idea what the purpose of the poem was, or why he'd written it, only that she liked the sound of it, or what had actually registered with her stoned mind, anyway. It was beginning to be a struggle, keeping her eyes open to talk to him, and it wasn't long before they started to win.

Harley watched her for a moment before letting out a sigh. Slowly he pulled out his phone and looked at the time. Classes were out. Shoving his phone into his pocket he grabbed his bag and shoved his journal inside before putting away his pipe. Throwing his bag over his shoulders he moved over to her. Wrapping his arm around her waist he moved her up on to her feet putting her arm over his shoulder.
"Come on Lola...Let's go back."He mumbled as he slowly began to walk with her back to school campus. No longer in the mood to be around people.

'You'll stay?' Lola asked him quietly, stumbling slightly as she let him drag her back to the school. She didn't want to be left alone, and she didn't want him to leave just yet, either, so she hoped that he would stay. Surely...Well, surely just laying with her while she slept for an hour or two wouldn't be such a big deal, would it? She sure as hell hoped it wouldn't as she wrapped her arm around his waist so he wasn't supporting her quite so much. At that moment she really wished she was good enough for Harley, since he seemed like a genuinely caring person.

Harley swallowed slightly. "Yea...Sure."He whispered to her softly as he made there way back. Slowly crossing over the log with her, safely to the other side. As they made their way back to the girls dorms he stayed silent. Moving down the hall he finally found her room. Opening it up he pulled her in and gently placed her on the bed. Taking off her shoes he placed her under the covers and pulled his bag over his shoulders. Setting it lightly on the ground. Moving to her desk and taking a seat as he looked down at his hands.

'You won't even lay with me?' Lola asked him quietly, fighting to keep her eyes from closing as she looked over at him sitting at her desk. She figured he might as well sleep while he was there with her, take advantage of the situation and use it wisely.
'Please?' She added softly, reaching her hand up and rubbing her eyes with the heel of her palm to try and keep herself awake now, and finding her eyelids were getting heavier and heavier by the second. She just wanted someone to lay with, purely for company and nothing more.

Harley nodded his head as he furrowed his brow. Sitting up he slowly took off his shoes. Grabbing the covers and moving under them next to her. Settling into the bed and staring up at the ceiling. Sort of just laying there. He didn't know what else to do.
Staying quiet he let himself sink into the bed. Letting the silence take over them so that she could get some sleep. He himself never got tired from smoking. Which was odd. Since most people did. But it only made him have different idea's for writing and poems. Which is the main reason he did smoke.

When he laid down beside her, Lola smiled softly before snuggling into his side, completely forgetting his dislike for physical contact and completely comfortable there. This was how she wanted their friendship to be, not that she'd ever admit it. She wanted him to be comfortable with her touching him and giving him hugs. To her, it wasn't a big deal and that was why she didn't hesitate to wrap her arm around his stomach, getting herself comfortable as she closed her eyes, breathing beginning to steadily settle. She didn't normally get tired when high, but she'd been tired to start with.

Harley laid there for a moment not sure what to do. Slowly wrapping his arm around her shoulder placing his hand lightly on her arm. Not really sure if he was even doing this right but he wasn't comfortable at all. If this was supposed to be right why did it feel so weird? He just didn't think he should be in a girls bed that he didn't love. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes placing his other hand behind his head. Trying to at least nap maybe. But it felt so weird he just laid there.

Lola was so far gone that she didn't even sense that he was uncomfortable, and so when he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, she couldn't help but think that he actually was, which caused her to smile softly before she began to settle in, planning to let sleep over come her now.
It wasn't long until she did begin to drift off, eyes slipping closed completely and her muscles began to slowly relax until she was out like a light, breathing steady and even as her grip on Harley began to loosen off slightly the longer she slept.
