Shawn found himself at the track that morning needing to run a few laps to keep himself at the top of his game. He didn't like the feeling of getting rusty. Though he was far from it he still wouldn't risk it.
So now running completely drenched in sweat with a simple pair of black basket ball shorts on and running shoes he moved around the track easily. His breathing in rhythm and his movements fluid. Being forward on the soccer team you need to be light on your feet.
On his 40-something lap Shawn stopped to take a breather slowly to a steady walk as he moved over to his water bottle. Picking it up and taking a sip he let a hand fall to his hip as he tried to regain his breathing. He loved the high that running gave him. It was awesome.
